tenant id (CohortSession.tenantId) is a field stored on each cohort session record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the cohort session record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the cohort session it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that CohortSession record. Because tenantId is part of the CohortSession record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the cohort session.
