Decision context — tenant id

tenant id (DecisionContext.tenantId) is a field stored on each decision context record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the decision context record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the decision context it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that DecisionContext record. Because tenantId is part of the DecisionContext record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the decision context.
