confidence (DemandForecast.confidence) is a field stored on each demand forecast record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Float value and is part of the demand forecast record's data. The confidence field belongs to the demand forecast it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set confidence while working with that DemandForecast record. Because confidence is part of the DemandForecast record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the demand forecast.
