term id (DemandForecast.termId) is a field stored on each demand forecast record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the demand forecast record's data. The termId field belongs to the demand forecast it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set termId while working with that DemandForecast record. Because termId is part of the DemandForecast record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the demand forecast.
