It holds a Boolean value and is part of the fiscal period record's data. The isCurrent field belongs to the fiscal period it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set isCurrent while working with that FiscalPeriod record. Because isCurrent is part of the FiscalPeriod record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the fiscal period.
