Fiscal period — sort order

sort order (FiscalPeriod.sortOrder) is a field stored on each fiscal period record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the fiscal period record's data. The sortOrder field belongs to the fiscal period it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set sortOrder while working with that FiscalPeriod record. Because sortOrder is part of the FiscalPeriod record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the fiscal period.
