is active (LearningOutcome.isActive) is a field stored on each learning outcome record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Boolean value and is part of the learning outcome record's data. The isActive field belongs to the learning outcome it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set isActive while working with that LearningOutcome record. Because isActive is part of the LearningOutcome record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the learning outcome.
