Ltilaunch session — launch data

launch data (LTILaunchSession.launchData) is a field stored on each ltilaunch session record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Json value and is part of the ltilaunch session record's data. The launchData field belongs to the ltilaunch session it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set launchData while working with that LTILaunchSession record. Because launchData is part of the LTILaunchSession record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the ltilaunch session.
