Ltilaunch session — roles

roles (LTILaunchSession.roles) is a field stored on each ltilaunch session record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String[] value and is part of the ltilaunch session record's data. The roles field belongs to the ltilaunch session it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set roles while working with that LTILaunchSession record. Because roles is part of the LTILaunchSession record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the ltilaunch session.
