The MapSnapshot record (MapSnapshot) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each MapSnapshot row stores fields such as id, curriculumMapId, snapshotData, snapshotDate, createdBy, notes, createdAt, curriculumMap. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a map snapshot as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. The map snapshot record links to the tenant that owns it, keeping each institution's map snapshot data isolated.
