Meeting action item — status

status (MeetingActionItem.status) is a field stored on each meeting action item record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the meeting action item record's data. The status field belongs to the meeting action item it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set status while working with that MeetingActionItem record. Because status is part of the MeetingActionItem record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the meeting action item.
