Process document — version

version (ProcessDocument.version) is a field stored on each process document record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the process document record's data. The version field belongs to the process document it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set version while working with that ProcessDocument record. Because version is part of the ProcessDocument record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the process document.
