Readiness level is a fixed list of values that Chalk uses for readiness level. The allowed values are GREEN, YELLOW, RED. A record can only ever hold one of these exact values, which keeps readiness level consistent across curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget records, as well as the API. When you see one of these on a record, it is one of the defined readiness level states rather than free text, so reports and automations can rely on it.
