category (ReviewComment.category) is a field stored on each review comment record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the review comment record's data. The category field belongs to the review comment it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set category while working with that ReviewComment record. Because category is part of the ReviewComment record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the review comment.
