Reviewer role is a fixed list of values that Chalk uses for reviewer role. The allowed values are PRIMARY, SECONDARY, COMMITTEE_MEMBER, DEPARTMENT_CHAIR, DEAN. A record can only ever hold one of these exact values, which keeps reviewer role consistent across curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget records, as well as the API. When you see one of these on a record, it is one of the defined reviewer role states rather than free text, so reports and automations can rely on it.
