Rubric level — sort order

sort order (RubricLevel.sortOrder) is a field stored on each rubric level record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the rubric level record's data. The sortOrder field belongs to the rubric level it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set sortOrder while working with that RubricLevel record. Because sortOrder is part of the RubricLevel record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the rubric level.
