Schedule type is a fixed list of values that Chalk uses for schedule type. The allowed values are FULL_TERM, FIRST_HALF, SECOND_HALF, SINGLE_SESSION, INTENSIVE, ONLINE_ASYNC. A record can only ever hold one of these exact values, which keeps schedule type consistent across curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget records, as well as the API. When you see one of these on a record, it is one of the defined schedule type states rather than free text, so reports and automations can rely on it.
