Self study section — sort order

sort order (SelfStudySection.sortOrder) is a field stored on each self study section record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the self study section record's data. The sortOrder field belongs to the self study section it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set sortOrder while working with that SelfStudySection record. Because sortOrder is part of the SelfStudySection record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the self study section.
