Standard — sort order

sort order (Standard.sortOrder) is a field stored on each standard record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the standard record's data. The sortOrder field belongs to the standard it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set sortOrder while working with that Standard record. Because sortOrder is part of the Standard record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the standard.
