tenant id (Standard.tenantId) is a field stored on each standard record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the standard record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the standard it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that Standard record. Because tenantId is part of the Standard record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the standard.
