plan id (StrategicGoal.planId) is a field stored on each strategic goal record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the strategic goal record's data. The planId field belongs to the strategic goal it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set planId while working with that StrategicGoal record. Because planId is part of the StrategicGoal record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the strategic goal.
