User role — assigned at

assigned at (UserRole.assignedAt) is a field stored on each user role record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a DateTime value and is part of the user role record's data. The assignedAt field belongs to the user role it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set assignedAt while working with that UserRole record. Because assignedAt is part of the UserRole record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the user role.
