RenderLog.error holds the stringified error from a failed render and is null on success. When a render throws, the endpoint records the row with success: false and error set to the message, alongside the requestId of the originating call. This gives operators a queryable trail of why renders fail without scraping application logs: filtering the log to success = false and reading error surfaces the failure reasons for a given source, tenant, or time window.
