Skarn PDF

StoredDocument — a persisted, downloadable PDF

A StoredDocument is a rendered PDF the service kept on storage so it can be downloaded later by id.

When you render with options.store=true (and always in batch), Skarn PDF persists the result as a StoredDocument instead of streaming the bytes back. The row records filename, source, category, sizeBytes, the storagePath where the bytes live, optional metadata, createdAt, and an optional expiresAt. The render response hands you back a documentId and a downloadUrl of /api/documents/{id}/download. Every StoredDocument is scoped to one tenantId, so a tenant only ever sees its own documents.

Store mode returns JSON (documentId, downloadUrl, expiresAt) rather than PDF bytes. Default render mode streams the bytes and persists nothing.
