`AnalyteAlias.analyteId` links the alias to its canonical Analyte record, so any result imported under the alias name is attributed to the correct chemical.

The analyteId on an AnalyteAlias is the foreign key that ties an alternate lab name back to the definitive Analyte. When an import batch encounters an analyte name that matches an alias, it uses analyteId to resolve to the correct Analyte and creates the AnalyticalResult under that analyte's record. This ensures trend charts, exceedance reports, and threshold comparisons all use consistent analyte identity regardless of which lab's naming convention appeared in the source file.
