The createdBy field on an AnalyticalMethod supports the audit trail for your chemical library. When a new method is added — either manually or during a lab report import that encounters an unrecognized methodId — createdBy captures who initiated the record. This is useful for quality control reviews: if a method record has incorrect details, you can identify who created it and determine whether it was an intentional addition or an automatic stub that needs completion.
