Page Orientation

`CustomReport.orientation` sets whether pages are rendered in portrait (tall) or landscape (wide) format, affecting how content is laid out across the page.

The orientation on a CustomReport determines the direction of each page in the generated PDF. Portrait is standard for text-heavy reports; landscape is preferable when your blocksJson contains wide data tables or time-series charts with many sampling events across the x-axis. Choose landscape if your tables have more than eight or ten columns — it prevents text from being truncated. You can change orientation at any time, but check that your existing block widths and chart configurations still render correctly after the change by generating a test PDF.
