Exceedance Result Unit

The resultUnit on an Exceedance records what unit the measured concentration was in when the exceedance was evaluated — matching the normalizedUnit of the parent AnalyticalResult. Alongside the thresholdUnit, the resultUnit lets compliance staff and regulators verify that the exceedance comparison was made in consistent units. If resultUnit and thresholdUnit differ, it may indicate a configuration problem that should be investigated before the exceedance is reported to a regulatory agency, as an apples-to-oranges comparison could result in a false violation.
