The cocId on a HoldingTimeViolation lets you trace back from a data quality issue to the original CoC document that accompanied the sample. This is useful when investigating whether the violation was caused by delayed shipment, a lab backlog, or an error in recording dates. Opening the ChainOfCustody for that cocId shows you the shippedAt, receivedAt, and trackingNumber — all the information you need to reconstruct the sample's timeline and identify where the holding-time clock ran out.
