When a lab report is uploaded, the import batch moves through a defined pipeline. It starts as Pending, advances to Parsing as the system reads the file, then enters Review where users can inspect mapped results and flag issues. Validating and Validated confirm that results pass data-quality checks. Committing and Committed mean results are written to AnalyticalResults and exceedance detection runs. Failed or Cancelled batches require attention before data enters compliance records. Monitoring the ImportStatus prevents incomplete data from appearing in reports.
