The createdBy field on a ReportVersion identifies which team member clicked "Render" to generate this PDF snapshot. In organizations where multiple people have render access, createdBy creates an audit record of who produced each version. This matters when versions are reviewed — if version 3 introduced an unexpected change from version 2, createdBy tells you who ran the render and can be asked about what package changes were made before it. Combined with the createdAt timestamp, it gives a complete render event record.
