Threshold Value Unit

The `thresholdUnit` on a ThresholdValue specifies the unit in which the concentration limit is expressed.

For exceedance detection to work correctly, the thresholdUnit on a ThresholdValue must match the normalizedUnit used for the corresponding AnalyticalResults. For example, if Piper normalizes benzene results to ug/L, the ThresholdValue for benzene should also have a thresholdUnit of ug/L. A mismatch — such as the ThresholdValue being in mg/L while results are normalized to ug/L — would make the limit appear 1000 times too lenient or too strict. Administrators creating custom ThresholdSets should always confirm the thresholdUnit for each ThresholdValue against the analyte's normalization configuration before assigning the set to any site.
