Well Stickup Height

`stickupHeight` on a WellConstruction records how far the top of casing extends above the ground or vault surface, a critical measurement for accurate water level calculations.

Everyday

When field technicians measure depth to water using a water-level meter lowered from the top of casing, the WellConstruction stickupHeight is subtracted or added to calculate the true water table elevation. An inaccurate stickupHeight propagates errors through all depth-to-water readings for that MonitoringWell. This value must match the as-built well record and should be re-measured and updated if the well casing is modified, damaged, or re-completed.
