Excavation Unit Dimension EW

The `dimensionEW` on an `ExcavationUnit` records the unit's measurement along the east–west axis, the second half of its plan-view size.

The dimensionEW of an ExcavationUnit captures how wide the unit runs from east to west. Together with dimensionNS it sets the unit's footprint, whether that is a tidy square EXCAVATION_UNIT, a long east-west TRENCH, or a compact TEST_PIT. Multiplying the two dimensions gives the open area, the basis for artifact-density figures and for planning how much more there is to dig. Recording the east–west dimension against the unit's grid keeps everything to scale and consistent with the unitDesignation. Like its north–south counterpart, the field is optional, allowing for units whose plan shape does not reduce neatly to two perpendicular measurements.
