User Tenant ID

The `tenantId` on a User identifies which tenant (organization) the user belongs to.

Every User in Relic belongs to exactly one tenant, and tenantId is the field that records it. It is the boundary that keeps each organization's people and data separate: a user only ever sees and acts within their own tenant's projects, sites, and records, and their role permissions apply only there. You normally do not set this by hand — it is established when the account is provisioned from Suite. The tenantId is also what ties a user to all of their work, since their projects, assigned units, authored daily logs, lab batches, generated reports, and audit log entries all live within the same tenant. Relic indexes users by this field for fast per-tenant lookups.
