The AuditEvent.targetId field holds the target reference for a AuditEvent record in Locker. It is a text value stored on each AuditEvent, and staff see and set it wherever AuditEvent records are managed. Keeping targetId accurate matters because the AuditEvent is part of how Locker tracks occupancy, billing, and the delinquency-to-auction workflow for the facility.
