The PaymentMethod enum records how a renter paid. Cash is money taken at the counter; a check is a paper or e-check; a card is a credit or debit payment; and ach is a bank transfer, typically used for autopay. The method is kept on every payment so staff can reconcile the drawer and the payment register report.
