The Renter.military field holds the military for a Renter record in Locker. It is a true/false flag stored on each Renter, and staff see and set it wherever Renter records are managed. Keeping military accurate matters because the Renter is part of how Locker tracks occupancy, billing, and the delinquency-to-auction workflow for the facility.
