The Unit.tenantId field holds the tenant reference for a Unit record in Locker. It is a text value stored on each Unit, and staff see and set it wherever Unit records are managed. Keeping tenantId accurate matters because the Unit is part of how Locker tracks occupancy, billing, and the delinquency-to-auction workflow for the facility.
