BillingMode is a fixed set of values that describes how a tenant pays for the platform. The allowed values are PREPAID (the tenant pays in advance, typically by card through the normal subscription flow) and INVOICED (the tenant is billed by invoice, settled outside the automatic card-charge path). Each billing arrangement carries exactly one of these values, so checkout, dunning, and finance reporting can rely on a consistent, predictable vocabulary instead of free text when deciding how to collect payment from a given tenant.
