SubscriptionStatus is a fixed set of values that tracks where a tenant's subscription stands in its billing lifecycle. The allowed values are TRIALING (in a free trial), ACTIVE (paid and current), PAST_DUE (a payment failed but the subscription is still recoverable), CANCELED (ended deliberately), UNPAID (left unpaid after retries), and SUSPENDED (access paused). Each subscription carries exactly one of these values, so entitlement checks, dunning flows, and billing screens can rely on a consistent, predictable vocabulary instead of free text to decide what a tenant may access.
