Aggregate weight

The total weight of all animals in a lot, used to compute per-hundredweight pricing.

Aggregate weight is the combined weight of every animal in the lot. It only matters for lots sold per hundredweight (per cwt) — that price is multiplied against this weight. Lots sold per head or lump sum don't need it.

For per-cwt lots, this is usually filled from the weigh tickets. Lots priced per head or lump sum can leave it empty.
