Reports: compliance and financial exports

The reporting surface — the compliance and financial CSV reports Tally produces for a sale or period, each reading from the same tenant-isolated records the operational screens write.

Everyday

The Reports page (/reports) is where the office pulls the day's paperwork and the period's numbers. There's no separate reporting database — every report reads straight from the same tenant-isolated records the ring, the scale, and the office already wrote, so the figures always match what's on the operational screens. Each report is a CSV download rather than an on-screen table: you pick the sale or the date range and download the file directly from the report endpoint.

The reports are grouped into two tabs.

Compliance — the paperwork regulators and inspectors ask for:

  • CVI Export — the veterinary inspection records for one sale, drawn from the health papers filed on its consignments.

  • Brand Inspection Summary — brand-inspection activity over a from/to date range.

  • USDA LMR Export — the Livestock Mandatory Reporting export for one sale.

  • Monthly Audit Log — every audited action for a chosen month, straight from the append-only audit trail.

Financial — the money view:

  • Daily Receipts — everything taken in on a chosen date.

  • Weekly Settlements — consignor settlement totals for an ISO week, built from the Settlement records.

  • Fee Revenue — the market's fee income (commission, yard, checkoff, and the rest) over a date range.

  • Lifetime Totals — running totals for a single consignor or a single buyer.
