tenant id (ActionPlan.tenantId) is a field stored on each action plan record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the action plan record's data. The tenantId field belongs to the action plan it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set tenantId while working with that ActionPlan record. Because tenantId is part of the ActionPlan record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the action plan.
