first name (AdjunctCandidate.firstName) is a field stored on each adjunct candidate record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the adjunct candidate record's data. The firstName field belongs to the adjunct candidate it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set firstName while working with that AdjunctCandidate record. Because firstName is part of the AdjunctCandidate record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the adjunct candidate.
