Approval route — is default

is default (ApprovalRoute.isDefault) is a field stored on each approval route record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Boolean value and is part of the approval route record's data. The isDefault field belongs to the approval route it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set isDefault while working with that ApprovalRoute record. Because isDefault is part of the ApprovalRoute record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the approval route.
