is active (AssessmentCycle.isActive) is a field stored on each assessment cycle record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Boolean value and is part of the assessment cycle record's data. The isActive field belongs to the assessment cycle it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set isActive while working with that AssessmentCycle record. Because isActive is part of the AssessmentCycle record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the assessment cycle.
