The AssessmentCycle record (AssessmentCycle) is a record type in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. Each AssessmentCycle row is scoped to a tenant and stores fields such as id, tenantId, programId, name, cycleLength, startYear, description, isActive, createdAt, updatedAt. These fields hold the data Chalk needs to track a assessment cycle as faculty, staff, and automations work with it. Because every AssessmentCycle row carries a tenantId, one institution's assessment cycle data is never visible to another.
