Budget planning cycle — workspace id

workspace id (BudgetPlanningCycle.workspaceId) is a field stored on each budget planning cycle record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a String value and is part of the budget planning cycle record's data. The workspaceId field belongs to the budget planning cycle it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set workspaceId while working with that BudgetPlanningCycle record. Because workspaceId is part of the BudgetPlanningCycle record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the budget planning cycle.
