Budget projection — base year

base year (BudgetProjection.baseYear) is a field stored on each budget projection record in Chalk, the higher-education academic operations platform for curriculum, assessment, faculty, scheduling, accreditation, and budget. It holds a Int value and is part of the budget projection record's data. The baseYear field belongs to the budget projection it is recorded on, so faculty, staff, and automations read or set baseYear while working with that BudgetProjection record. Because baseYear is part of the BudgetProjection record, it stays consistent with the rest of that record's data and is scoped to the tenant that owns the budget projection.
